Telit, which participated in the Automotive Innovation Day (2016 Automotive Innovation Day) event held on the 14th and hosted by Automotive Electronics, introduced its smart car and automotive module solutions.

Telit is committed to providing a comprehensive connected car solution and a line of automotive-specific modules that can enable remote control, real-time vehicle status information transmission, and streaming services for next-generation 'smart cars.'

In early 2014, Telit established the Automotive Solutions division to target the automotive OEM market and achieved global ISO/TS16949 certification, essential for automotive applications. Telit maintains its leadership in the automotive market by offering a comprehensive automotive portfolio, including LTE and HSPA+ modules.

The company has established close partnerships with domestic and international automobile manufacturers and is achieving tangible results, including supplying products for telematics systems. Telit, which acquired NXP Semiconductors' Automotive Telematics On-board Unit Platform (ATOP) business unit, is dedicated to developing an industry-leading platform optimized for smart cars.

Telit also announced that it has supplied GNSS modules to a domestic black box manufacturer. The SL869 V2 module supports GPS, QZSS, and GLONASS, as well as Galileo and Compass/Beidou. Featuring easy integration and excellent battery life, the module can be installed in vehicles, various industrial equipment, wearable devices, and telematics applications. It simultaneously tracks GPS and GLONASS and receives accurate positioning information, providing stability for navigation applications.
