Samsung Electronics Holds Event in Mexico to Launch Three Wearable Models
Published2016.07.25 11:38Samsung Electronics held a "Night Run" event in Mexico on the 23rd (local time) to celebrate the launch of three new wearable products, including the "Gear IconX," "Gear Fit2," and "Gear 360," featuring a smart lifestyle night run for consumers.
The event, held at the Hipodromo de Las America in Mexico City with two courses covering distances of 5km and 10km, was a great success with approximately 2,500 consumers in attendance. On this day, various prizes, including trophies and concert tickets, were awarded to about 60 participants, including the winners.
The 'Gear IconX' is a convenient cord-free earset equipped with built-in memory that can be used as a standalone music player. The 'Gear Fit 2' is a smart band equipped with a GPS sensor that allows real-time measurement of exercise status without a smartphone, and the 'Gear 360' is a VR camera capable of 360-degree shooting.
A Samsung Electronics official stated, “Through this event, the 'Gear IconX', 'Gear Fit 2', and 'Gear 360 Camera &“It was an opportunity to widely introduce the various functions and conveniences of squo; to Mexican consumers,” he said. “We will continue to target the wearable market through innovative smart products that can bring more enjoyment and convenience to health and daily life.”
