LG Electronics' OLED TV has won Europe's most prestigious award in the field of audio-visual imagery for five consecutive years.

On the 15th, the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) selected the 65-inch 'LG SIGNATURE' OLED TV (model name: 65G6) as the '2016-2017 European High-End TV'. With this, LG OLED TVs achieved the remarkable feat of winning the 'EISA Award' for five consecutive years since 2012.

The European Imaging and Sound Association described the 'LG SIGNATURE' OLED TV as "truly state-of-the-art," highly praising the unparalleled picture quality unique to OLED that delivers perfect black and colors closest to natural hues.


They also highly praised the fact that it supports all HDR (High Dynamic Range) video standards, such as HDR 10 and Dolby Vision, and gave a favorable review of the sophisticated design, stating, “The ultra-slim thickness of the OLED TV makes the TV stand out even when the screen is off.”

The 'EISA Awards,' organized by the European Imaging and Sound Association, are the most prestigious awards in Europe in the field of audio-visual imagery. A judging panel consisting of approximately 50 editors-in-chief from leading AV magazines in over 20 European countries evaluates technology, design innovation, and other factors to select the best products in each category.
