LG Electronics strengthens LED projector market with enhanced convenience through wireless features

LG Electronics is targeting the global projector market with its wireless MiniBeam TV, which is convenient and highly portable.
On the 25th, LG Electronics launched the Mini Beam TV (model name: PH130), which significantly enhances convenience with its small size, light weight, and perfect wireless capabilities. Starting with Korea, the company plans to sequentially release the product in regions including Europe, North America, and Asia next month.
This product is equipped with a battery that lasts for up to 2 hours and 30 minutes. It is possible to watch a movie even outdoors where access to electricity is difficult.
This product connects wirelessly to Bluetooth-enabled speakers. Users can connect a mini-beam TV to car speakers at a campsite to enjoy magnificent sound. Additionally, by connecting Bluetooth earphones, users can quietly enjoy sound alone even late at night.
Users can wirelessly connect this product to IT devices such as smartphones and laptops. Videos stored on smartphones and other devices can be viewed on the large screen of the Mini Beam TV without the hassle of connecting cables.
The Mini Beam TV also boasts the advantages of a small size that fits comfortably in one hand and a light weight. The product dimensions are 115mm wide, 115mm deep, and 44.3mm high. Weighing 460g, it is lighter than a 500ml bottle of water. The picture quality is HD (1,280x720), and the maximum brightness is 130 lumens. The domestic shipping price is 490,000 won.
LG Electronics plans to showcase its technological prowess leading the global LED projector market by exhibiting MiniBeam TVs, including new products, at IFA 2016, Europe's largest consumer electronics exhibition, held in Germany early next month.
According to market research firm PMA, LG Electronics' MiniBeam TV has ranked first in the global LED projector market in terms of sales revenue for six consecutive years since 2011.
Kwon Bong-seok, Executive Vice President and Head of LG Electronics’ Home Entertainment Business Division, emphasized, “We will maintain a continuous competitive edge in the global projector market with MiniBeam TVs that prioritize customer convenience.”
