Keysight Korea donates software and measurement equipment to POSTECH

Keysight Korea (CEO Yoon Deok-kwon) donated on August 24th to the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering at POSTECH (Pohang University of Science and Technology, President Kim Do-yeon) a total of 5 sets of cutting-edge electronic design automation software—ADS, GoldenGate, and EMPro—valued at approximately 2 billion won, as well as one set each of PNA-X network analyzer and UXA signal analyzer for design verification.
The Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering at POSTECH plans to accelerate its research by utilizing the advanced software and measurement equipment donated by Keysight Korea for power amplifier design, transceiver design, and antenna design for 5G next-generation wireless communications in the millimeter-wave band, as well as research on Beyond 5G leading-edge technologies in the terahertz band.
In conjunction with this donation, POSTECH and Keysight Korea plan to establish and operate "Keysight RF Lab" within the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering for the purpose of developing next-generation wireless communication technologies through forward-looking industry-academia collaboration. Keysight Korea plans to support leading communication technology development and technical talent cultivation programs through technological collaboration with POSTECH's distinguished faculty and research personnel.
POSTECH President Kim Do-yeon stated, "Convergence and fusion research based on next-generation communication technologies is emerging as an important topic leading national competitiveness. We anticipate that the Keysight electronic design automation software and measurement equipment donated this time will provide significant benefits to graduate education in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering and to research conducted by faculty members in this field. We are grateful for the invaluable products donated for the development of our university," he said.
Keysight Korea CEO Yoon Deok-kwon said, "We aim to contribute to nurturing excellent talent through industry-academia collaboration. Keysight will provide more active technical support for POSTECH's advanced electronic circuit design and measurement technology development alongside this donation of cutting-edge design automation software and measurement equipment, and we will continue to contribute to technological advancement through these efforts."

Keysight Launches First CXPI Triggering and Decode Options for Oscilloscopes
Keysight Korea (CEO Yoon Duk-gwon) has launched CXPI (clock extension peripheral interface) decoding and triggering options for Infinivision 3000T and 4000 X-Series oscilloscopes. The two series are currently the only oscilloscopes that provide decode and trigger capabilities for the CXPI bus. This new functionality enhances engineer efficiency when debugging the physical layer of the CXPI serial bus, which is primarily used in automotive applications.

Try Keysight handheld measuring instruments for "free"
Keysight Korea (CEO Yoon Duk-kwon) is conducting a "Free Trial for Handheld Products" event through September 30. The event allows customers to experience any desired model from approximately 50 handheld product models from Keysight free of charge for two weeks. Upon submitting a trial review, participants are entered into a drawing to receive a foldable electric kickboard and a Bluetooth transmitter.

Sailpoint has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership agreement with AWS and is moving forward with establishing an integrated governance system that manages both human and non-human identities together. Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
