A successor product following the announcement of new products equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 series in August
Expanding application not only to ROG gaming-specific products but also to general desktops

ASUS announced that it will launch a large number of new products equipped with NVIDIA's latest graphics GPU, the GTX 10 series, also known as Pascal.

The newly introduced products are the G701, a laptop from ASUS's high-end gaming PC brand ROG (Republic of Gamers), and the M32CD, a standard ASUS desktop model. In addition, ASUS is launching sales in the Korean market alongside these new products for the GX800, the most powerful model among the GTX 10 series products announced globally for the first time last August.

Above all, attention is being drawn to the fact that the GTX 10 series GPU has been installed in the M32CD desktop model, rather than in ASUS’s dedicated gaming brand ROG model. By equipping the M32CD model, which is sold as a product for everyday gaming, with the most powerful GPU, a high-performance gaming experience is now possible at an affordable price, thereby expanding the range of product choices for general gamers.

The new ROG G701 features a slim and stylish design that makes it highly portable. Nevertheless, it is equipped with the NVIDIA GTX 1080, the best GPU, and is one of the gaming laptops to bear the nickname 'Vulcan,' which is given only to the highest-performing ROG products. It features an ultra-fast 120Hz G-SYNC display for smooth gameplay and is powered by an overclockable Intel® Core™ i7 K-series processor to support desktop-level gaming performance.

Unlike other laptops equipped with the GeForce GTX 1080, the G701 was developed with a thin thickness of 32.5mm and features a Bio-Armor design combining the new ROG Armor Titanium and Plasma Copper colors. Additionally, it delivers outstanding performance in virtual reality through the VR Ready NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 GPU, allowing users to enjoy vivid virtual reality without lag in any high-end game.

Meanwhile, ASUS’s VivoPC series, the M32CD, is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6G) GPU. It supports 6th generation Intel® processors, providing more efficient multitasking performance and significantly faster speeds compared to the previous generation. It features various functions, such as being equipped with DDR4 memory that supports speeds twice as fast as DDR3 and supporting 4K/UHD (3840 x 2160) displays.

In addition, it supports USB 3.1 ports that support data transfer speeds up to 20 times faster than USB 2.0 and 2 times faster than USB 3.0. In particular, it is noteworthy that despite gaining an advantage in all specifications over comparable competitors due to this GPU upgrade, it also possesses the competitiveness of being available at a more affordable price.

Meanwhile, the GX800, which garnered the most attention after being unveiled for the first time globally in Korea last August, features the Windows 10 operating system and NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 SLI—that is, two GTX 1080 GPUs—for unrivaled 18-inch 4K UHD visuals, along with a dedicated liquid cooling dock for graphics card overclocking, CPU, and DRAM. This combination ensures top-tier gaming visuals, unprecedented frame rates, and system stability, enabling the ultimate gaming experience.

For example, in the 3DMark 11 Graphics and Fire Strike Ultra benchmark tests, the GX800 equipped with the Hydro Overclocking System received a score 29% higher compared to other gaming laptops, and was verified to provide more than twice the performance of gaming laptops equipped with the NVIDIA GTX 980.

With the launch of these new products, ASUS is being praised for demonstrating its leadership in the gaming PC market by establishing a product lineup featuring the widest variety of models equipped with NVIDIA's GTX 10 series. In fact, ASUS offers a total of eight products with diverse specifications, including laptops such as the G701, GX800, G752, and GL502, as well as desktops like the GT51, G20, G11, and M32CD.

ASUS is holding a photo review event for customers who purchase through pre-orders by October 30, and will award various prizes, including ASUS ROG routers and ZenPad Z580s, through a raffle.
