Ultrawide gaming monitor with 1ms response time, 144 frames per second, and a 21:9 aspect ratio

LG Electronics will showcase the best gaming environment at 'G-STAR 2016,' the largest domestic game festival held at BEXCO in Busan for four days starting on the 17th.

LG Electronics will set up an exhibition zone in a 360-square-meter (m²) booth where visitors can directly experience products optimized for gaming, such as ultrawide gaming monitors, ultra-lightweight Gram laptops, and high-performance Ultra PCs. In the center of the booth, a massive LED screen measuring 6.5m wide and 3.6m high will display game videos and information, and various events are also planned.

The 34-inch ultrawide gaming monitor (model name: 34UC79G) displays up to 144 frames per second, smoothly rendering fast movements.

The 1ms Motion Blur Reduction mode displays even fast-moving shooting games without ghosting. Additionally, the 21:9 aspect ratio is advantageous as it displays the edges of the screen that were not visible on conventional 16:9 monitors. For example, when playing racing games, you can spot opponents attempting to overtake from either end in advance and react accordingly.

Despite its large 15.6-inch screen, the Gram 15 weighs only 980g, making it the world's lightest 15-inch laptop. It features a Full HD IPS panel, displaying clear and sharp image quality from any angle. In addition, it provides high-quality sound using technology from Wolfson, a world-renowned audio company.

LG Electronics has partnered with game developer Neople to operate an experience zone where customers can try out ultrawide gaming monitors and the high-performance laptop Ultra PC (model name: 15U470). The Ultra PC is equipped with Intel's 7th generation Core i7, which features significantly improved graphics performance. Customers can experience the true value of LG Electronics' IT devices by playing popular games enjoyed by 500 million people worldwide, such as Dungeon & Fighter and Cyphers, firsthand.

LG Electronics is also operating a booth where visitors can experience the vivid sound quality of products such as the V20 smartphone, equipped with a Quad DAC, and the Tone Plus Bluetooth headset. LG Electronics has also prepared a variety of events. In addition to game events where visitors can compete directly against professional gamers from Dungeon & Fighter and Cyphers, the company is hosting cosplay events featuring costumes of game characters, as well as events where voice actors who recorded the game audio will present entertaining adaptations of the game stories.
