Data streaming enhancements for multi-channel and multi-chassis PXIe systems

Keysight (CEO Deok-Kwon Yoon) announced Gen 3 PXIe chassis and Gen 3 system components designed for complex, high-performance applications.

The new products enhance data streaming for capture/playback applications such as 5G and electronic warfare (EW) by doubling system bandwidth. Additionally, Gen 3 products provide a higher-level platform for multi-channel and multi-chassis PXIe test systems for applications such as MIMO and PA/FEM.

This product includes an 18-slot PXIe chassis providing x8 Gen 3 PCIe links to each slot, single and dual-port Gen 3 PXIe system modules and PC host cards, and a PXIe embedded controller with enhanced Gen 3 performance.

The M9019A Gen 3 PXIe 18-slot chassis provides a high-performance system platform with enhanced features such as a Gen 3 backplane with x8 PCIe links and x24 (two-link) system slots in each slot, and one-button power control for multi-chassis power sequencing.

The PC host adapter, designed for various PXIe system modules, performance, and system configuration flexibility, supports the new M9019A chassis. When used together, these products provide up to 16GB/s system bandwidth to an external PC for the first time in the industry.

The M9037A PXIe high-performance embedded controller has been verified for Gen 3 PXIe backplane performance when used in the M9019A chassis. This allows system designers to obtain maximum benefits through the chassis's enhanced backplane speed.
