u-blox EVA-M8M, the industry's smallest GNSS module
Supports the smallest battery-powered 3G tracking device

u-blox announced that two of its products have been integrated into the smallest battery-powered asset tracking device developed by Cobilsys.

The ATPACK tracker, measuring 53 x 48 x 15 mm, is designed for tracking the location of vehicles, motorcycles, and pets. It features the u-blox EVA-M8M, the industry's smallest GNSS module, supporting GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and BeiDou. This positioning module is further enhanced by its design integration with the ultra-compact u-blox SARA-U270 HSPA/GSM communication module, which transmits its location over a wireless network.

Cobilsys decided to incorporate u-blox modules into its tracker, considering that they can operate the ATPACK for up to five days with a single 700mA battery, thanks to their small size and high energy efficiency. The u-blox technical support team actively supported Cobilsys' product development.
