NVIDIA Launches Gaming Laptops with Up to 3x the Performance of Previous-Generation GPUs

NVIDIA announced the launch of laptops equipped with the GeForce GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti.
Equipped with the GeForce GTX 1050, the laptop delivers the same level of performance as a Pascal-based desktop, delivering fast and smooth gaming experiences even at a thickness of 17mm, and with NVIDIA Battery Boost technology, it supports long battery life even when not charging.
At CES 2017, NVIDIA is offering hands-on experience with laptop models from Acer, Alienware, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, and more featuring the GeForce GTX 1050.
Laptops equipped with the GTX 1050 support the latest DirectX™ 12 features, allowing you to play classic and modern games at 1080p/60 FPS. They also support graphics technologies like NVIDIA GameWorks, GeForce Experience, and NVIDIA Ansel for screenshots.
More than 30 GeForce GTX 1050-equipped laptops are expected to be released by OEMs worldwide in the first quarter of this year. These models will be built on Intel's latest Kaby Lake platform for laptops. Pricing will vary by manufacturer, but retail prices are expected to start at around $699.
