Equipped with Intel 7th Gen CPU and NVIDIA GTX 10 Series

ASUS held the '2017 New ROG Launch Show' event at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul on the 10th and launched ROG (Republic of Gamers) gaming laptops and desktops equipped with the latest Intel 7th generation Core processor, Kaby Lake.

The new ROG lineup consists of a total of seven products, including four laptop models such as the GL502, GL553, GL753, and FX 553, and three desktop models such as the GT51, G11, and G20. These products feature the latest CPUs, support 4K UHD, and are equipped with NVIDIA's GTX 1050 GPU.

The ROG GL502 is equipped with an Intel 7th Gen Core processor and optionally features NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or GTX 1060 graphics cards. It features a 15.6-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and supports NVIDIA G-SYNC technology. Despite being a gaming laptop, it boasts excellent portability thanks to its lightweight and slim design. Additionally, it is equipped with a backlit anti-ghosting keyboard that supports 30-key rollover.

The ROG GL553/GL753 is based on the Windows 10 operating system (OS) and is equipped with Intel 7th Gen Core processors, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050/1050Ti, and the full version of Microsoft DirectX 12. Both products feature a chiclet keyboard design with red backlighting and a 2.5mm key travel, supporting scissor switches. Additionally, they are designed with WASD keys highlighted in a separate color, a larger space bar, separately positioned arrow keys, and the ability to configure RGB lighting.

The FX553 is equipped with an Intel 7th Gen Core processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card, 16GB of DDR4 memory, and a 128GB SSD. It features a 15.6-inch FHD screen with a 178-degree wide viewing angle panel. Additionally, it weighs approximately 2.2kg and has a thickness of about 23.5mm. It is equipped with a red keyboard backlight, a key spacing of 2.5mm, 30-key rollover, and ASUS's proprietary gaming support software such as Game First III and Gaming Center.

Desktop equipped with 4K UHD video and GeForce GTX series GPUs

The GT51 is a desktop equipped with Intel 7th Gen Core processors. It stably plays 4K UHD video using NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 SLI graphics cards. System performance, including CPU, GPU, and memory overclocking, can be monitored through ROG's exclusive Aegis III. In particular, it is equipped with ESS's SABRE Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC), enabling lossless playback of ultra-high-resolution 384kHz/32bit audio.

The G11 is also a desktop equipped with an Intel 7th Gen Core processor. It smoothly supports 4K UHD video and 3D modeling programs. It is equipped with a GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card.

The G20 is supplied as a model equipped with an Intel 7th Gen Core processor, an NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1080 (8GB) graphics card, up to 32GB of DDR4 memory, and a 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD. As a product officially VR certified by OCULUS, it supports long-term high-performance gaming experiences thanks to its compact 9.5L size, 8 million LED designs, ASUS's proprietary CPU cooling module, and exclusive gaming software.
