Samsung Electronics Holds Hands-on Event to Commemorate Launch of 2017 Galaxy A5

To commemorate the launch of the 2017 'Galaxy A5', a young premium smartphone, Samsung Electronics will operate the '2017 Galaxy A Lounging', an experience zone with a unique concept incorporating the lounging concept, at Coffee Smith in Hongdae from January 19 to 26.
"2017 Galaxy A Lounging," which reflects the 'Lounging' culture of freely enjoying leisure time in one's own style, targeted the 1020 generation who actively participate in and share their interests.

Samsung stated that users can test the 16-megapixel front and rear cameras at camera experience zones themed around travel, movies, and study. They also mentioned that users can take selfies using a floating camera button that can be moved anywhere on the display.
The 2017 'Galaxy A5', released on the 19th, is equipped with premium features of a flagship smartphone, such as IP68 water and dust resistance and Samsung Pay, which enables fingerprint-based payment. In particular, it reflects the needs of those who enjoy taking selfies by featuring a 16-megapixel front and rear camera, a non-protruding 'Zero Design', a 'floating camera button', and a 'selfie flash'.
