Two Q signage types and three IF series types introduced at ISE 2017
Tizen OS, HDR applied, focusing on implementing image quality

Samsung Electronics will unveil a number of new signage products at 'ISE 2017', Europe's largest commercial display exhibition held in Amsterdam.

The signage being introduced this time is two types of Q signage (55 and 65 inches) that use QLED technology and three types of LED signage IF series.

QLED Signage is a commercial HDR display that uses QLED TV's quantum dot technology to realize 100% color volume without any restrictions on the usage environment. It also expresses rich colors with a sense of three-dimensionality while achieving a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits, enabling image quality at the same level as the real thing, and is equipped with the Tizen OS, allowing for the creation of various contents.

Samsung Electronics is introducing three types (P1.5, P2.0, P2.5) of LED signage IF series products that apply HDR.

The IF series provides color through precise color adjustment and image quality inspection for each cabinet and module at factory shipment, and applies calibration technology that allows image quality adjustment using a DSLR camera even after installation.

Existing products could only be installed from the rear, but the design has been changed to allow installation from both the front and rear.

Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics held the “Your Future” event at this year’s ISE exhibition. A new campaign called “On Display” sets the standard for signage utilization across all industries.

In line with the campaign message, we plan to decorate the exhibition booths of eight representative B2B industries, including retail, large marts, restaurants, corporations/public institutions, airports, movie theaters, and hotels, to show how industrial signage is utilized.

During 'ISE 2017', Samsung Electronics will host seminars on various topics for B2B customers, including ▲LED Signage Mega Launching Showcase, ▲Smart Signage Tizen Summit, and ▲'QLED Signage' Showcase, introducing signage products and solutions and presenting a vision for the display industry.
