Samsung Electronics appointed Vice President Jin Gyo-young, head of DRAM Development Division, as the new head of the Memory Business Division under the DS Division Semiconductor Group on the 28th.

This follows the appointment of Jeon Young-hyun, president and head of the Memory Business Division, as the new representative director of Samsung SDI.

Vice President Jin Gyo-young, currently serving as head of the DRAM Development Division at the Memory Business Division, has consistently built his career in the memory field since starting at Samsung Electronics' Memory Business Division Research Institute in 1997.
