Galaxy S8 experience zones held at company-owned stores and dealerships

LG Uplus is embarking on a full-scale customer welcome ahead of the launch of Samsung Electronics' premium smartphone, the 'Galaxy S8,' by recruiting a large-scale experience group, introducing a used phone price guarantee program, and releasing a new co-branded credit card.

From the 7th to the 11th, U+ is recruiting a large-scale experience group of customers from other carriers to experience the Galaxy S8 for one month.

Customers selected for this U+ experience group, which is recruiting 8,888 people, will receive 30,000 points that can be used to pay communication bills if they participate in a survey on their experience during the Galaxy S8 trial period. After one month of use, customers may choose to continue using the phone, change to another model with the penalty fee and remaining installment payments waived, or cancel the service.



To apply for the U+ Experience Group, pre-order the Galaxy S8, register your name and mobile phone number on the official LG U+ website (http://www.uplus.co.kr), and select a store where you will activate your phone. Customers selected for the experience group can activate their Galaxy S8 from the 18th to the 24th.

LG Uplus's 'Used Phone Price Guarantee Program' allows you to receive up to 50% of the principal amount of the installment plan if you return your used phone after 18 months of purchasing a Galaxy S8. The program fee is 7,700 won per month (including VAT), and VIP/VVIP customers with a monthly payment of 65,890 won (including VAT) or more can receive a discount on the full fee using membership points.

In addition, the 'U ⁺ Galaxy Club,' a Galaxy phone replacement program, is also being launched. Customers who purchase the Galaxy S8 can have their remaining installment payments fully waived if they return their used phone after 12 months.

In addition, by using the newly launched 'LG U ⁺ Big Pot Hana Card,' you can receive a monthly discount of 17,000 won on communication fees when using the card for 300,000 won or more in the previous month, allowing you to receive a total discount benefit of 408,000 won over 24 months*.

Meanwhile, LG Uplus will operate experience zones starting April 1 at major directly managed stores and agencies nationwide, including Seoul, Busan, and Gwangju, for customers who want to try out the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus before purchasing, allowing them to experience the artificial intelligence voice assistant 'Bixby'.
