NVIDIA will hold 'NVIDIA DEEP LEARNING DAY 2017' to share the latest deep learning and artificial intelligence trends and technologies, starting in Seoul on May 25th, Daejeon on the 30th, and Busan on June 1st.

As interest in deep learning and artificial intelligence continues to grow and their applications expand, NVIDIA is hosting "NVIDIA Deep Learning Day" for the second year to broaden its reach. Through this day, NVIDIA experts, leaders in GPU-based deep learning technology, will share the latest technologies and information on deep learning and artificial intelligence, at the heart of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, with professionals, professors, and students, and provide hands-on training labs.

In particular, this year's 'NVIDIA Deep Learning Day 2017' is expected to be a venue to examine the latest artificial intelligence and deep learning technologies and trends announced at the world's largest GPU Technology Conference (GTC) 2017, held annually in Silicon Valley. Accordingly, a large number of domestic software developers, big data experts, and IT industry professionals are expected to attend.



'Deep Learning Day 2017' will tour three major cities across the country, and will be held at the following locations: Grace Hall and Marigold Hall at the El Tower in Yangjae-dong, Seoul on May 25; Lavender Hall at the Intercity Hotel in Daejeon on May 30; and BEXCO Conference Room in Busan on June 1.

Participants can attend both the morning conference sessions and the afternoon training lab, the Deep Learning Institute, and freely choose and apply for the program of their choice. Deep Learning Institute participants must bring their own laptop and complete the pre-setup process according to the lab participation instructions on the relevant page of the official website.

In particular, at the Deep Learning Day 2017 Seoul Conference session, Marc Hamilton, Vice President of Solutions Architecture and Engineering at NVIDIA, will deliver a keynote speech and share insights on accelerating deep learning applications. Vice President Hamilton is an expert in the field of high-performance computing (HPC) for deep learning technology, which requires advanced computational capabilities. He also delivered a keynote speech on GPU-accelerated data centers at GTC Korea 2015, drawing enthusiastic responses from the audience. Furthermore, keynote speakers will include Seokwon Jeong, General Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Korea; Sangwan Lee, Professor of Bio and Brain Engineering at KAIST; Minki Son, Professor at Chung-Ang University; and Jihyun Kim, Professor at Pusan National University, among other deep learning experts from various companies and universities at home and abroad. They will present the latest deep learning-related technologies and case studies.
