Published2017.05.29 16:57The IoT cloud platform Thing+ (Thing Plus) showcased at World IT Show provides a cloud environment for building IoT services quickly and easily. Through Thing+ Embedded (Thing Plus Embedded), various devices can be easily connected to Thing+Cloud (Thing Plus Cloud), and once devices are connected, users can immediately access features such as widget-based dashboards, rule settings, notifications, graph analysis, and user and device management through Thing+ Portal (Thing Plus Portal).
Thing Plus can also be utilized in smart factories. It provides a cloud-based service (SaaS) environment that monitors machine status on manufacturing lines and environmental conditions within factories, and supports productivity improvement through big data analysis based on accumulated data.

KT, 홈 IoT 보안 역량 강화 나선다
KT는 26일 경기 성남 판교 스타트업캠퍼스에서 한국인터넷진흥원(KISA)과 ‘홈 IoT 중소 협력사 보안역량 향상’에 관한 업무협력 양해각서(MOU)를 맺었다고 밝혔다. 이번 MOU 체결은 KISA에서 IoT 관련 업무를 맡고 있는 IoT 혁신센터에서 진행됐다. 홈캠 등 가정용 사물인터넷(IoT) 기기에 대한 해킹 우려가 높아지고 있다. 이러한 가운데 KT가 홈 IoT 분야의 중소 협력사의 보안역량을 높이기 위해 IoT 보안 전문기관과 손을 잡았다. KT와 KISA는 이번 MOU에서 KT 협력사의 홈 IoT 보안역량 향상과 보안의식 강화를 위해 ‘KT 홈 IoT 기기 대상 보안시험 수행’, ‘홈 IoT 보안인식 제고를 위한 교육’, ‘홈 IoT 보안기술 정보교류 등을 상호 협력하기로 했다. KISA는 2015년 IoT 보안 테스트베드를 열고 스마트 홈?가전, 자동차, 공장 등에 대한 시험환경을 제공 중이다. 아울러 IoT 보안과 관련해 교육 프로그램 및 컨설팅을 지원하고 있다. KT는 IoT 보안에서 역량을 갖춘 KISA와 협업하는 만큼 고객에게 보다 안전한 IoT 제품 및 서비스를 제공할 것으로 기대하고 있다. 홈 IoT 기기가 보안에 강하기 위해서는 제품을 생산하는 중소 협력사가 스스로 제품 설계하는 단계부터 보안관리를 할 수 있는 역량이 필요하다. 더구나 정부에서 IoT산업 활성화를 위해 홈 IoT 기기의 보안 적합성 강화를 추진 중인 만큼 KT와 KISA의 협업은 중소기업들에게 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 예상된다.

Vietnamese software company FPT participated in the World IT Show (WIS). FPT Group is composed primarily of FPT Software, FPT University, and FPT Corporation, with approximately 30,000 engineers on staff. FPT Software conducts research in Internet of Things (IoT), cloud, and artificial intelligence (AI), and is developing software capable of recognizing license plates, vehicles, people, and traffic signals through test operations on the FPT University campus. The company operates four branch offices within Vietnam and possesses foreign language conversation capabilities (English, Korean, German, Chinese, etc.) for overseas internships and personnel outsourcing, in addition to research activities. As IT technology advances, demand for personnel is increasing. When it becomes difficult to expand investment in R&D operations, it is expected that Vietnamese personnel support can enable continued operations.

If it takes time, it becomes unsuitable for use in vehicles, but with the Qt framework, you can enable fast boot in just 1 second.

Ecolab and K-water Discuss Innovation Collaboration in Advanced Industry Water Management
Ecolab and the Korea Water Resources Corporation jointly discussed cooperation directions for maximizing water use efficiency in advanced industries such as semiconductors and data centers and establishing sustainable water circulation. The two companies agreed to gradually develop a long-term cooperation model that combines water resource infrastructure and water management technology to promote water efficiency optimization, water reuse, and carbon reduction.

H.Energy Obtains Green Technology Certification…SolarOnCare Operating at 99.82% Uptime
H.Energy has obtained green technology certification from the Small and Medium Business Administration for solar power generation forecasting and I-V curve anomaly diagnosis technology. The AI-based asset management platform SolarOnCare is deployed across more than 3,000 power plants nationwide, achieving a system uptime of 99.82% and a 3.7% improvement in power generation performance. Through real-time data analysis, it protects power generation revenue by detecting and managing minor losses such as module degradation and partial shading early on.
