KT Launches LG's High-Capacity Battery 'Power Phone' on Olleh Shop
Published2017.06.08 11:00The LG X500 is an entry-level smartphone equipped with a large 5.5-inch HD display, high-performance front and rear cameras (wide-angle front), and a large-capacity 4,500mAh battery, the largest in Korea. It features high-definition HD DMB capabilities, allowing users to enjoy HD DMB channels with even more vivid picture quality.
The launch price of the X500 is 319,000 won, and it will be released in two colors: blue and gold. You can receive a discount on your monthly communication bill by using the KT Premium KB Kookmin Card. In addition, you can receive an additional discount on the device by accumulating KT Membership points and points from various partner companies.

Dolby ATMOS creates vivid spatial audio where sound appears to come from in front, behind, or above the user depending on the movement or position of objects on screen. For example, when an airplane flies over the protagonist's head, the sound is heard from above the viewer's head, providing a more three-dimensional and realistic sense of space.

KT, ‘배터리송’으로 배터리 소모절감 알려
KT의 배터리 소모 절감기술(C-DRX)을 소개하는 ‘배터리송’이 유튜브 등 소셜네트워크서비스(SNS)에서 35만건의 조회수를 기록했다고 전했다. KT는 국내 최초로 전국망에 적용한 배터리 소모 절감기술을 소개하기 위해 4월 말부터 1개월에 걸쳐 전국 30곳 지역에서 ‘배터리 세이브 페스티벌’을 개최했다. ‘배터리 세이브 페스티벌’은 4월 22일 수원에서 시작해 5월 25일 전주를 마지막으로1달여간 진행했다. 서울, 대전, 광주, 대구, 부산, 인천, 원주 등 전국 30개 지역에서 진행됐으며, 총 3만고객들이 참여해 ‘배터리 절감 기술’이 적용된 단말과 적용되지 않은 단말의 배터리 전력 사용량 차이를 눈으로 직접 확인하고 본인의 스마트폰으로도 배터리 전력 사용량을 비교 체험했다.

LG Electronics Launches Power Phone Capable of Watching DMB for Two Days on a Single Charge
LG전자가 국내 출시 스마트폰 중 역대 최대 배터리 용량을 자랑하는 실속형 스마트폰 LG X500(31만9천원)을 이동통신 3사를 통해 9일 출시한다. LG X500은 올 초 열린 MWC 2017에서 첫 공개돼 호평을 받았던 글로벌 모델 LG X파워2에 일반 DMB 대비 12배 좋은 화질의 HD DMB를 추가하고 32GB의 저장용량을 적용한 국내 전용 제품이다. 이 제품은 한 번 충전으로 최대 이틀 동안 쓸 수 있는 4,500mAh 대용량 배터리를 탑재했다. 한 번 충전으로 동영상을 약 20시간 동안 연속 재생할 수 있으며 인터넷 검색은 약 20시간 연속 사용이 가능하다. 일반 충전보다 2배 빠른 고속 충전을 적용해 약 1시간 만에 배터리를 50% 충전할 수 있다. 디스플레이 화면은 5.5인치다. LG X500은 셀카봉 없이도 단체셀피를 촬영할 수 있는 500만 화소 전면 광각 카메라를 탑재했다. 또, 어두운 곳에서 밝고 선명한 셀피를 촬영할 수 있도록 전면에도 LED 플래시를 채택했다. 1,300만 화소 고화질의 후면 카메라에는 버튼을 누름과 동시에 촬영이 이뤄지는 ‘제로셔터랙’이 적용됐다. LG전자 한국모바일그룹장 이상규 전무는 “배터리 걱정 없이 스마트폰으로 장시간 업무를 하거나 콘텐츠를 즐기고 싶은 소비자들에게 적합한 폰이 될 것이며 LG전자는 실속형 라인업을 지속적으로 선보일 것”이라고 말했다.
