Samsung SDS announced that it has signed a strategic agreement with Indonesia's Korindo Group for global integrated logistics operations.

Korindo Group is a representative Korean investment company that has entered Indonesia and is a comprehensive development company with over 30 affiliates, including resource and paper businesses, as well as heavy industry, logistics, and chemicals.

Through this strategic agreement, Samsung SDS plans to complement its overseas local logistics execution capabilities and expand external sales, while Korindo Group plans to secure international transportation competitiveness by promoting logistics advancement based on Samsung SDS's logistics platform, Cello.

Both companies plan to establish a business cooperation model in the logistics sector and develop it into a joint venture in the future.

Park In-cheol, Vice Chairman of Korindo Group, stated, “Combining the strengths of both companies through this strategic collaboration will create significant synergy,” adding, “We plan to further expand business cooperation.”

Kim Hyung-tae, Head of the SL Business Division (Vice President) at Samsung SDS, also said, “This will serve as an opportunity to further strengthen local logistics execution capabilities overseas and secure external customers,” and “We plan to actively pursue external business for sustainable growth.”
