ZenBeam E1 Receives Favorable Reviews at Camping Festival 'GOCAF'
150 ANSI high brightness, automatic screen leveling function

ASUS showcased its ZenBeam E1 beam projector at the international outdoor camping festival GOCAF, receiving great acclaim from visitors.

GOCAF was held at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Ilsan from June 16 to 18. Approximately 600 outdoor and camping companies participated to showcase camping cars, camping food, outdoor clothing, and equipment.

Although a wide variety of outdoor and camping-related products flooded the exhibition hall, ASUS's beam projector attracted the most attention. With its compact size of 11cm x 8.3cm and light weight of 307g, the ZenBeam E1 appealed to camping enthusiasts who prefer lightweight beam projectors over heavy camping gear.


In particular, the versatile silver-toned metallic color and clean design stood out even more when installed alongside various outdoor and camping gear, such as tents and tables, making it sufficient to attract the attention of visitors.

The biggest feature of the ASUS ZenBeam E1 is its powerful performance despite its small, one-handed size. Its high brightness of 150 ANSI lumens allows for use even in bright daylight, and it delivers clear image quality even when projected onto a tent tarp or paper in addition to a screen.

Optimized for outdoor use, it has received a great response from backpackers and trekkers who are sensitive to lightness and bulk. The built-in battery, capable of running for 5 hours, is double that of comparable specifications and can be used as a portable power bank, allowing it to be replaced with a backup battery when not in use.

In addition, it is equipped with the technology to project a large screen even from a short distance. With a distance of about 1 meter, you can enjoy a screen the size of a 32-inch TV, and at a distance of 3.7 meters, you can enjoy a screen the size of a 120-inch large screen.



Conventional portable beam projectors often produced a trapezoidal image due to an inability to level the screen, requiring the use of separate stands, such as propping it up with books, to prevent this. The ASUS ZeanBeam E1 resolves this inconvenience by featuring a Keystone function that automatically adjusts the image to a rectangular shape. This Keystone function ensures optimal image quality even in challenging environments like mountainous terrain or campsites where leveling is difficult.

The warm-up and cooling time, which is an inconvenience of other beam projectors and takes over 30 seconds, has been reduced to 5 seconds. It can be operated immediately upon pressing the power button, allowing you to enjoy the video you want right away.

Equipped with a large-capacity built-in battery, it can operate for over 5 hours.

It also features high compatibility to connect with various other devices. You can connect to set-top boxes, laptops, stick PCs, and game consoles via the HDMI port, and you can also project video from the mobile phone by connecting the appropriate MHL (Mobile High-Definition) for each mobile phone.
