Recorded the number one market share in the Brazilian TV market

Samsung Electronics held a 'QLED TV launch event' at the Palacio Tangara Hotel in São Paulo, Brazil on the 19th and unveiled its 2017 QLED TV lineup.

At this event, attended by over 200 people including local media and industry representatives, Samsung Electronics prepared various experience zones to help visitors easily understand the cutting-edge features of QLED TVs.

The innovative features of QLED TVs, which cater to users' lifestyles such as connecting all TV peripherals with a single transparent optical cable and controlling all devices with a single remote, also attracted significant attention from visitors.

Guto Requen, a renowned Brazilian architect and designer who participated in the event, highly praised the design and picture quality of the QLED TV, stating, “The innovative design and nature-like colors of the QLED TV make it impeccable as a home interior.”

Samsung Electronics holds the overwhelming number one position in Brazil's UHD TV market, recording a market share of 56% (based on quantity) from January to April of this year.

We have participated in interior design exhibitions to showcase the superior design of QLED TVs, and we plan to carry out various marketing activities, including TV commercials and outdoor advertising at major shopping malls.
