Samsung Electronics, laptops like tablets with S Pen
Published2017.07.05 14:24Samsung Electronics is launching the 'Samsung Notebook 9 Pen' equipped with an S Pen in the domestic market.
The Notebook 9 Pen is the first notebook product to be equipped with the same 'S Pen' solution found in the Galaxy Note smartphone series, and its touchscreen display rotates 360 degrees so it can be used like a tablet, making it convenient to use for various work environments and purposes.
In particular, using the S Pen, you can create delicate and precise expressions on the touchscreen display with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and a thin 0.7mm pen tip, allowing for freehand pen work just like writing on paper or drawing in a sketchbook.
A three-month free trial of 'Autodesk Sketchbook Pro' software is also provided so that graphic artists and design professionals can experience high work efficiency with the S Pen.
The Notebook 9 Pen comes standard with Windows 10 operating system, the latest 7th generation Intel processor, Full HD (1920 x 1080 resolution) RealView display, 8GB (or 16GB) DDR4 memory, and a 256GB SSD (Solid State Drive) storage device.
In terms of screen size, it will be released in two models: a 13.3-inch (15.9mm thick, 1.32kg) and a 15-inch (16.9mm thick, 1.72kg) version, and notably, the 15-inch model features the AMD Radeon 540Equipped with a graphics card, it provides powerful gaming performance.
It supports Quick Charging when using the included dedicated adapter, and is also equipped with the ability to charge using a smartphone charger or portable battery pack, which was well-received in the Notebook 9 Always series, allowing you to conveniently secure power without worrying about battery life even while outdoors.
