LG Electronics, Robot Vacuum Cleaner Children's Intelligence Level

The artificial intelligence robot vacuum cleaner that LG Electronics introduced this year has been recognized for its smart brain.
According to the results of a recent test conducted by Seoul National University's 'Robotics & Intelligent Systems Lab.', LG Electronics' artificial intelligence robot vacuum cleaner 'Roboking Turbo Plus (Model Name: VR6480VMNC)' has the intelligence level of a 6-7 year old child.
Seoul National University measured the comprehensive intelligence level of four types of robot vacuum cleaners on the market. It tested more than 100 items across three areas: perception, decision, and activity, and evaluated the intelligence level as child, ape, and dolphin.
In particular, LG's 'RoboKing Turbo Plus' is equipped with 'DeepThinQTM', a deep learning technology independently developed by LG Electronics earlier this year, and its cognitive and judgment intelligence, which are core elements of artificial intelligence, have been significantly improved. Before it was equipped with DeepThinQ, LG's robot vacuum cleaner was rated as having "ape-level" intelligence in a similar test in 2015.
The Roboking Turbo Plus, equipped with DeepThinQ, can distinguish between obstacles to avoid and obstacles to overcome. While previous robot vacuum cleaners tried to go over a person's foot, it now waits for about 3 seconds in front of the person's foot, cleans when the foot is removed, and goes around when the foot does not move.
LG Electronics H&A Business Division President Song Dae-hyun emphasized, “We will continue to develop the technology that introduced AI home appliances for the first time in the industry to enrich the lives of customers.”

The LG G6's smaller, more affordable Q6 to be released in August.
LG Electronics unveiled the LG Q6, the first smartphone in the Q series. The LG Q6 inherits the design and convenience features of the LG G6 while offering a lower price point. The Q series is positioned as a semi-premium smartphone in the 500,000 won range. The LG Q6+, which features increased RAM and internal storage capacity (ROM), was also launched simultaneously. The LG Q6 comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, while the LG Q6+ is equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The launch is scheduled for August in Korea, with sequential rollouts planned for North America, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East and Africa.

LG Uplus Officially Launches 'iPad Pro'
LG U+ officially launches Apple's iPad Pro tablets in 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch sizes. iPad Pro is released in three models with 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options. The iPad Pro 12.9-inch models are priced at 1,120,900 won, 1,230,900 won, and 1,452,000 won respectively. The launch colors for the 10.5-inch iPad Pro include four options: Silver, Gold, Space Gray, and Rose Gold. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro is available in three colors excluding Rose Gold.
