Siemens Launches Sound Camera Usable Even by Non-Professionals
Siemens has newly launched the LMS Sound Camera, a sound source localization system. This product helps identify noise sources that are problematic in various industries and enhances acoustic design capabilities and brand image. Through a modular high-quality digital microphone array equipped with dedicated software, it visualizes sound sources in real-time with accuracy for all objects generating noise in the field or laboratory. The LMS Sound Camera system is part of Siemens' Simcenter portfolio. The Simcenter portfolio consists of simulation and test solutions for predictive engineering analytics. The LMS Sound Camera system can be used in three different configurations using Short Arm and Long Arm options depending on the application. Upgraded functionality can be accessed by additionally installing microphones according to customer requirements. It covers an analysis frequency range up to 20kHz. It provides benefits such as digital sensors, scalable design, and rapid result generation, and is available at an economical price for both beginners and experts to use easily.

Siemens: "Single-Scenario Simulation is Not Long... Design Optimization Needed"
Siemens has released STAR-CCM+ v12.04, the latest version of its multiphysics CFD (computational fluid dynamics) software specialized in simulation and analysis. This version integrates two new capabilities that enable automated product design exploration and design optimization. STAR-CCM+ v12.04 introduces Design Manager, which allows for easy exploration of multiple design options in CFD simulations. Additionally, Siemens has added STAR-Innovate software, which is based on the validated design optimization technology of HEEDS software from CD-adapco, acquired by Siemens in 2016. STAR-CCM+ was developed by Siemens' PLM (product lifecycle management) software business unit and is included in the Simcenter portfolio, a powerful suite of simulation and testing solutions.

SalePoint Signs Multi-Year Partnership Agreement with AWS… Promoting Identity Security that Integrates Even AI Agents
Sailpoint has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership agreement with AWS and is moving forward with establishing an integrated governance system that manages both human and non-human identities together. The plan is to consistently manage access permissions in an environment where AI agents are increasing as work execution entities, while applying the principle of least privilege and automated policy enforcement. The two companies plan to jointly expand capabilities to manage the identities of various entities, including AI agents, within a single layer in the AWS environment. This collaboration is interpreted as a move to design security and governance together in corporate environments where AI adoption is expanding.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
