Signed a business agreement with Soongsil University and donated a big data platform

KT NexR announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for industry-academia cooperation at Soongsil University on the 22nd and donated a big data platform worth 100 million won, 'NDAP (NexR Data Analytic Platform)'.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to join forces to lay the foundation for big data activation and foster professional talent by jointly participating in the training of big data professionals, exchanging personnel and information, building systems for donated products and providing user training, training big data experts and analysts, and conducting job placement programs.

KT NexR's 'NDAP', which was donated this time, is the first product in Korea to receive Big Data GS certification from the Korea Information Technology Association (TTA), a nationally accredited software quality certification body. It is an All In One solution that standardizes the key core functions of Hadoop, which has emerged as a global big data standard technology, and provides all the data collection, processing, storage, and analysis necessary for utilizing big data.

Soongsil University is exploring specific measures to cultivate professionals in the field of big data, such as first establishing 'NDAP' at the Graduate School of Information Science, developing a big data-related educational curriculum in cooperation with KT NexR, and opening courses.

Soongsil University's Graduate School of Information Science is a specialized graduate school dedicated to cultivating IT professionals and executives equipped with IT management capabilities, producing dozens of IT specialists every semester. Through this collaboration with KT NexR, it will play a pioneering role in fostering big data specialists equipped with both specialized knowledge and practical skills. I expect that
