ASUS Announces Laptops Equipped with Intel 8th Gen CPUs
Published2017.08.31 13:02ASUS has introduced two new Zenbook and two new Vivobook laptops equipped with the latest Intel 8th generation quad-core CPUs.
The newly released products are the ZenBook series UX370 and the VivoBook series X510, while the existing UX330 and S510 models have also been upgraded with Intel 8th Gen Quad-Core CPUs. The Intel 8th Gen Quad-Core processors feature new quad-core specifications, a power-efficient microarchitecture, and silicon optimization technology, delivering up to 40% performance improvement compared to the 7th generation, along with a 48% faster content creation environment and a long battery life of 11 hours when watching 4K video.
The new ZenBook UX370 features the Windows 10 operating system and an 8th-generation Intel Core i5 processor. It boasts a slim and lightweight design with a 13.3-inch wide-angle display, a thickness of 10.9mm, and a weight of 1.1kg. It offers fast charging technology, allowing it to charge 60% in just 49 minutes for up to 11.5 hours of use. It supports a fingerprint sensor and comes with a stylus pen, and incorporates Harman Kardon technology to enable users to enjoy high-quality sound.
The new VivoBook S510 boasts powerful performance with support for the 8th Gen Intel Core i8 processor and the NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics card. It features a 15.6-inch wide-angle display and achieves an 80% screen-to-body ratio through nano bezels, along with a durable yet stylish metal design. It supports up to 8GB of DDR4 memory and offers smart security features and fast charging capabilities, further enhancing user convenience.
In addition, to celebrate the launch of the new products, ASUS is holding a promotion for key Zenbook (UX410, UX370, UX330, UX310) and Vivobook (S510, X510) models on major online marketplaces (11st, Gmarket, Auction) until September 15. During the promotion period, customers who purchase the four top-tier Zenbook series products on Auction or Gmarket will receive Microsoft Office 365 along with a luxurious Zenbook-exclusive pouch, while those who purchase two Vivobook models on 11st will also receive the Office 365 program as a gift.
