Schneider Electric (hereinafter Schneider) has launched a new 'EcoStruxure software solution' that provides assets with substantial profitability and operational reliability.
This integrates powerful Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies, such as Schneider's EcoStruxure architecture and platform. It helps control and improve efficiency, asset and operational reliability, and profitability in real-time at actual industrial sites.
Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure is a system architecture and platform that supports IoT and is characterized by its openness and interoperability. It delivers "Innovation at Every Level" across connected products, edge control, apps, analytics, and services. The EcoStruxure architecture supports scalable design and the operation of connected systems, while implementing best-in-class cybersecurity at every level.
Enhancing safety and reliability through competent personnel , leading to revenue generation
Schneider Electric's new software, equipped with EcoStruxure Condition Advisor, bridges the gap between operations and maintenance. By providing data on abnormal operations early on, it efficiently improves maintenance and operations personnel. In addition, data can be checked anywhere within the factory via mobile.
Achieving substantial ROI by improving asset status monitoring
All assets in the plant (intelligent electronic devices, motor starters, inverters) are monitored in real time via OPC UA. This is a new feature that complements the existing advisor, which monitors the status of process instruments such as fieldbuses, HART, and PROFIBUS.
Jose Bonomo, Vice President of Process Automation Management at Schneider Electric, emphasized, "Schneider Electric solutions improve plant safety, asset reliability, and process efficiency by accurately detecting and reporting potential issues and recommending corrective actions before errors occur.
