Samsung SDS, Use Free IT Diagnostic Service

Samsung SDS has launched the 'Lookin Enterprise' solution, which is directly installed on customer systems to configure IT infrastructure at a professional consulting level and enable security diagnostics and easy remediation.
A Samsung SDS official explained, "Companies and financial and public institutions that were unable to use free IT diagnostic services due to internal security policies restricting external internet access to business systems can now use a powerful IT diagnostic service."
The Lookin Enterprise solution launched this time offers the advantage of unlimited usage compared to the company's existing free diagnostic service by being directly installed on customer systems.
Additionally, history management by user and diagnostic group is possible, and automatic diagnostics can be performed with simple installation (agent) on target equipment, enabling convenient and stable IT system diagnostics and operation.
In particular, the number of diagnostic items has been increased to approximately 2,500, more than double the existing free diagnostic service (1,300 items), enabling detailed diagnostics at the level of top consulting experts, and identified vulnerabilities can be remediated through guidance.
Additionally, integrated diagnostics of IT systems from various manufacturers can reduce cost and time losses, and complex failure factors can be easily identified.
Comprehensive diagnostic result reports are provided, and diagnostic levels are scored to visually display vulnerability status, with detailed remediation guidance also provided.
A Samsung SDS official emphasized, "Lookin Enterprise will establish itself as an unrivaled solution in the diagnostic field because its product diagnostic scope covers not only global commercial products but also domestic databases and open-source relational databases."
The existing free diagnostic service will continue to be provided free of charge in the future, and diagnostic capabilities will also be continuously upgraded and enhanced.

Samsung SDS Announces Results of Blockchain Application Project in Shipping and Logistics
Samsung SDS announced interim results of a pilot project applying blockchain technology to maritime logistics at the Cello Tech Fair 2017 held at Samsung SDS's Pangyo Campus on the 7th. Samsung SDS Q3 Earnings Increase Year-on-Year
Samsung SDS announced through preliminary results disclosure that it recorded third-quarter sales of 2.31 trillion won and operating profit of 192.3 billion won. Compared to the third quarter of the previous year, sales increased by 15.4% and operating profit increased by 12.7%. Sales continue to grow year-over-year in both IT services and logistics BPO, with operating profit particularly driven by the IT services division including solutions.

Samsung SDS and Sungkyunkwan University have joined forces to actively cultivate big data analytics specialists, who are key talent in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. On October 26, Samsung SDS CEO Jeong Yu-seong and Sungkyunkwan University President Jeong Kyou-sang, among others, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for industry-academia cooperation at the office of the president of Sungkyunkwan University to promote big data analytics technology and conduct joint research.

SalePoint Signs Multi-Year Partnership Agreement with AWS… Promoting Identity Security that Integrates Even AI Agents

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
