Samsung Electronics Launches Star Wars Darth Vader and Stormtrooper Vacuum Cleaners
Published2017.10.30 10:05Samsung Electronics is launching the 'Star Wars Edition' of its main vacuum cleaners, the Powerbot and Powergun, in the domestic market ahead of the release of the movie 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi'.
The 'Star Wars Edition' of Powerbot and Powergun, created in collaboration with Lucasfilm, the production company of Star Wars, features popular characters from the movies, 'Darth Vader' and 'Stormtrooper'.

The Powerbot 'Darth Vader' model has a specially made cover to express the character's signature black mask, and the 'Stormtrooper' model recreates the feel of each character in the movie by utilizing the characteristic white and black colors.
When you start cleaning, for the 'Darth Vader' model, the music 'The Imperial March' plays along with Darth Vader's breathing sound. As it plays, the 'Stormtrooper' model says the line 'Let's go' and the movie's main theme music plays.
Ahead of the official sale (November 6), pre-sales will be held on the 30th through Samsung.com (www.samsung.com).
The Star Wars Edition release price is 799,000 won for the Powerbot 'Darth Vader' model, 699,000 won for the 'Stormtrooper' model, and 999,000 won for the Powergun 'Stormtrooper' model.
