Detects fine particles with a diameter of 0.3㎛ using a laser light source

Samsung Electronics is launching the 2018 model of its new air purifier, the 'Blue Sky', which uses a 'laser PM 1.0 sensor' at the level of professional measuring equipment to precisely measure fine dust particles measuring 0.3㎛ (micrometers) in diameter.

The 2018 Blue Sky Air Purifier uses a laser light source to detect fine particles as small as 0.3㎛ in diameter in real time to measure indoor air quality more precisely, and its powerful 'Power Fan' sucks in polluted air through the front of the product and expels purified air out the sides and upwards, creating pleasant indoor air with '3-way 3D purification'.

In particular, the Blue Sky 7000 is equipped with a 'dual power fan' that creates a more powerful airflow, allowing it to clean wide indoor spaces of up to 90㎡ from the living room to the kitchen more quickly.

The top of the Blue Sky product features an 'Air Navigator' that displays fine dust and harmful gas levels in numbers and icons, as well as a 'Clean Lighting' function that displays indoor air quality in four colors, allowing you to easily check the air quality in your home at a glance.

Samsung Blue Sky Air Purifier uses Samsung Electronics' unique 'Filter Saving 7-stage cleaning system' to filter out large dust, hair, and animal fur with an ultra-fine filter, and then removes various odors, bad smells, and harmful gases with a deodorizing filter. It also uses the principle of electrostatic charging.It is more economical as it is equipped with a 'filter saver' function that effectively removes dust, extending the filter life by about two times.

It is also equipped with smart home IoT functions via Wi-Fi connection, so you can check the indoor air quality anytime and anywhere while you are out and about using the 'Samsung Connect' app (application) for your smartphone. You can also easily perform remote control operations, set reservations, check filter replacement cycles, and purchase filters.

This new product is released in a total of 7 models and 3 colors: dark gray, gold, and black, depending on the cleaning area and presence or absence of the filter saver function.
