Samsung Electronics Launches 'Galaxy Tab A' Focused on Portability and Convenience

The new 'Galaxy Tab A', featuring an 8.0-inch (203.1mm) display, is a product that takes convenience and practicality to a new level with excellent portability, a sharper camera, and a versatile 'Home Mode'.
The Galaxy Tab A can be easily carried at any time thanks to its thin 8.9mm thickness and light weight of 360g (WiFi version) / 364g (LTE version). The metal back adds a premium touch, while the edge design on the corners provides a comfortable grip.
Camera features have also been enhanced. The Galaxy Tab A is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera with an F1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera, allowing for clearer photos. In particular, it offers a "Floating Camera Button" that allows users to move the button anywhere on the screen to press the shutter, and provides convenient usability by enabling camera direction or effect switching through swiping the screen up, down, left, or right.
The Galaxy Tab A newly offers a 'Home Mode' that displays useful information such as the time, calendar, and weather even while charging. It can also be used as a digital photo frame displaying up to 50 photos from the gallery. It can be used even more conveniently by utilizing the dedicated charging dock, which is sold separately.
In addition, the Galaxy Tab A is the first tablet to feature Bixby Home and Bixby Reminder. Users can view personalized content at a glance with Bixby Home and manage schedules more systematically with Bixby Reminder.
In addition, the Galaxy Tab A is equipped with △ 'Smart View,' which allows easy sharing of the tablet screen with a TV screen △ 'Game Launcher,' which blocks notifications and prevents unnecessary screen touches during gameplay △ and 'Kids Mode,' which supports various content for children such as LEGO-related content, games, and education, making it useful for any family member of various age groups.
The LTE version of the 'Galaxy Tab A' will be released in black through the three major mobile carriers on the 16th, priced at 308,000 won. The Wi-Fi version of the 'Galaxy Tab A' is scheduled to be released on the 24th in two colors, black and silver, priced at 264,000 won.
