At CES 2018, Dell unveiled massive innovations across the board, including PC products, software, VR, and e-sports.

Dell's announcements at this CES include the 'XPS 13,' a thinner, lighter, yet powerful premium laptop; 'Dell Mobile Connect' software and 'Dell Cinema,' which deliver an advanced PC user experience; and 'Alienware Command Center,' software that innovates the gaming environment and culture. In addition to two new Ultrathin monitors and the 'Latitude' portfolio, the company also unveiled ongoing activities to advance esports, including VR.

The XPS 13 is a product born from the combination of outstanding design and various cutting-edge technologies. It won the CES 2018 Innovation Award. Adopting Dell's proprietary ultra-thin bezel technology, 'InfinityEdge,' it features a next-generation 'InfinityEdge 4K UHD (Ultra HD)' display. It provides up to 80% more heat dissipation space (headroom). The 'GORE Thermal Insulation' introduced in the XPS 13 is a silica aerogel material used by imaging robots to dissipate heat, rapidly relieving heat. It is scheduled to be released in Korea on January 26.

Dell Mobile Connect seamlessly wirelessly integrates PCs and smartphones (iOS and Android), significantly enhancing the convenience and productivity of Dell PC users. It comes pre-installed on new Dell PCs, including XPS, Inspiron, and Alienware, launching in late January, allowing users to make calls, send text messages, and receive notifications while using their PC. For Android-based smartphones, full mirroring is also possible, enabling users to freely use applications from their smartphones on their PCs.

Dell Cinema is a solution that helps multimedia content creators reproduce the sound and visual effects exactly as intended. By equipping Dell Cinema on XPS and select Inspiron PCs, Dell provides a cinematic immersive experience to users who enjoy movies or TV programs on their PCs.

With Alienware Command Center, which integrates system settings, content, and other features into a simple and stylish interface, everyone from beginners to pro gamers can optimize and adjust their PCs and peripherals to suit their respective gaming needs.

Dell's new ultrathin monitors, which deliver vivid colors, support HDR content playback. Featuring a nearly borderless InfinityEdge bezel and a thickness of just 5.5mm at its thinnest point, they boast an outstanding design. With a maximum brightness of 600 nits, they provide lifelike images in terms of color depth, sharpness, and contrast. They are scheduled for release in Korea on February 6th.
