Samsung Galaxy S9+ Selected as 'Best Connected Mobile Device'

Samsung Electronics’ ‘Galaxy S9+’ won the ‘Best New Connected Mobile Device’ award from the Global Mobile Communications Association (GSMA) at MWC 2018.
The Galaxy S9+ introduced new ways for consumers to experience and interact with the world through features such as the 'Infinity Display' design, which enhances immersion and minimizes bezels, a super slow motion camera, AR emojis, stereo speakers, and biometric authentication.
In addition, the 'Galaxy S9' and 'Galaxy S9+' were selected as the best mobile devices by more than 30 IT media outlets, including TechRadar, Android Authority, and PhoneArena, during MWC 2018.
"The way people use mobile devices and their expectations for new technologies are changing," said Lee Young-hee, Vice President and Head of Marketing at Samsung Electronics' Wireless Business Division. "We will continue meaningful innovation to listen to consumer needs, showcase the best products, and provide better experiences."
Meanwhile, Samsung Pay received the 'Best Mobile Innovation for Payments' award from the Global Mobile Communications Association in recognition of its service accessibility, ease of use, and security.It won the award, and the 'Samsung Gear VR with Controller' was selected as the 'Best Mobile VR/AR' device in recognition of making it easy for anyone to enjoy a virtual reality experience.

Samsung Electronics, 'Galaxy S9', 'Galaxy S9+' Ready for Official Launch
Samsung Electronics is conducting pre-orders for the smartphones 'Galaxy S9' and 'Galaxy S9+' and will launch them officially in Korea on March 16. The 'Galaxy S9' and 'Galaxy S9+' will be released in a total of three colors: Lilac Purple, Midnight Black, and Coral Blue. Pricing is as follows: 'Galaxy S9 (64GB)' at 957,000 won, 'Galaxy S9+ (64GB)' at 1,056,000 won, and the 'Galaxy S9+ (256GB)' model at 1,155,000 won.
