Proving the excellence of the in-house 'Collaboration Academy' applicable in the field
Maximizing the value of work through collaboration and creating new growth opportunities

KT DS won the Grand Prize in the Education Program category at the '2018 Korea Human Resource Development Awards,' an HRD (Human Resource Development) awards ceremony.

In 2017, KT DS selected collaboration as a key keyword to overcome the company's growth limitations and crises, and developed a collaboration platform called COUP (a combination of COllaboration and UP) that defines collaboration methods between individuals and departments.

The 'Collaboration Academy,' which won the Grand Prize, is an educational program developed in-house by KT DS to expand the collaboration platform COUP and secure execution capabilities. It is designed as an integrated online-offline educational course that stimulates interest and understanding of collaboration through e-learning and allows participants to experience collaboration offline through games.

In particular, through mini-workshops held during the process where employees discuss collaboration difficulties they experience in the field and find solutions on their own, they can identify specific matters to apply upon returning to work.

KT DS was highly praised for having over 1,300 employees participate in the academy in 2017 to induce change and validate the training program.

A trainee participating in the Collaboration Academy said, “I used to think that collaboration was abstract and vaguely difficult, but through games during the training, I experienced the necessity of collaboration and realized that I needed to change first. I was also able to gain practical tips to apply immediately upon returning home.”
