LG Electronics has confirmed the "LG G7 ThinQ" as its next premium strategic smartphone brand. This marks the first time the ThinQ brand has been applied to the G series.

Last month, LG Electronics debuted its ThinQ brand on smartphones with the launch of the LG V30S ThinQ, which integrates AI technology into the most frequently used features. The device features "Empathetic AI," which focuses on "Voice AI," which performs various voice commands, and "Vision AI," which enhances camera convenience.

The 'LG G7 ThinQ' not only upgrades the performance and convenience of 'empathetic AI', but also strengthens its linkage function with other devices.

LG Electronics will unveil the LG G7 ThinQ at Metropolitan West in Manhattan, New York City, on the 2nd of next month, and hold another launch event at the I-Park Mall in Yongsan, Seoul, on the 3rd. Domestic and international media will be invited to attend a presentation and hands-on experience of the new product.

LG Electronics MC Business Division Vice President Hwang Jeong-hwan emphasized, “Until now, smartphones have been focused on adding new and more functions, so now is the time to find a solution that addresses how conveniently customers can actually use them.” He added, “We will combine the AI technology we have accumulated in smartphones and home appliances to present a level of convenience never seen before.”
