Samsung Electronics' 2018 QLED TV has received favorable reviews from major overseas media outlets, including the American business magazine 'Forbes', IT media 'HD Guru', tech expert site 'AVS Forum', and British IT media 'Trusted Reviews' and 'What Hi-Fi'.

On the 4th, Forbes published an article titled “QLED’s Fierce Counterattack” and praised it, saying, “QLED TV’s picture quality is a masterclass in reproducing all the potential elements of 4K resolution.”

He also praised the Q9F, saying, "Finally, you can experience the full color reproduction of QLED technology," and "The Q9F shows the best HDR picture quality I have seen in TV history."

The positive reviews in the US have spread to Europe, where QLED has also been TVs have been consistently recognized as top products. In 2018, the UK-based Trusted Reviews awarded QLED TVs the unprecedented top score of 5 stars. Trusted Reviews has been minimizing the maximum 5-star rating in its TV evaluations since 2016, and this QLED TV is the first product to receive a 5-star rating in the past three years.

The media outlet explained why it was selected as number one, saying, "QLED TV is a product that perfectly meets the most important factors in choosing a TV, such as color reproduction, deep black, and strong brightness."

British IT magazine What Hi-Fi also named QLED TVs the best products of 2018. The analysis is that the reason Samsung QLED TV's picture quality has been well-received by major overseas media outlets is because quantum dot technology has further evolved this year.
