LG Uplus announced that it will build a home IoT platform in the apartment complex 'Geumwang Wooshin Lion The Class' supplied by Wooshin Construction (Chairman Kang Shin-taek), a construction company in the Busan area.

LG Uplus plans to expand the application of its home IoT platform to apartment complexes supplied by Wooshin Construction, starting with the 1,664 units of Wooshin Lion The Class Apartments in Geumwang, Eumseong, North Chungcheong Province. The home IoT platform being built in the Geumwang Wooshin Lion The Class complex is an integrated system that allows the use of existing home networks and LG U+'s home IoT services as a single application.

Residents can easily use LG U+'s IoT-dedicated app 'IoT@home' to ▲home network systems such as heating and cooling, lighting/gas control, unmanned delivery, energy usage check, and parking control ▲individually purchased IoT appliances such as air conditioners, robot vacuum cleaners, air purifiers, rice cookers, and humidifiers ▲LG U+ home IoT services such as plugs, power strips, blinds, and air quality sensors.

In addition, it is convenient because you can connect various home IoT devices to each other and automatically run all IoT devices in your home simultaneously by entering conditions for each situation, time, and user. For example, when you open the front door before going to work, all the lights and gas in the house turn off and the boiler switches to away mode at the same time.

Meanwhile, LG U+ is rapidly expanding its home IoT and artificial intelligence IoT infrastructure in the housing construction market by signing business agreements with approximately 80 construction partners, the largest number in Korea, based on differentiated services such as AI speakers and IoT wall pads.
