Analog Devices announced a new sensor interface IC that enables the realization of next-generation intelligent electrochemical sensors.

The ADuCM355 precision analog microcontroller is the only solution that integrates potentiostat and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) functions into a single chip. As it supports biosensor and chemical sensor interfaces, it is an ideal solution for applications such as industrial gas detection, instrumentation, biosignal monitoring, and disease management.

This device features the industry's most advanced sensor diagnostic capabilities, best-in-class low noise and power consumption, and an ultra-compact form factor. While existing discrete solutions face limitations in achieving similar performance and require the use of additional ICs, ADI's new microcontroller platform offers enhanced reliability, maximum flexibility, and significant cost savings.
