Dell EMC has added eight types of mid-range storage to the 'Disk Array' multiple supply contract on the Nara Jangteo online shopping mall operated by the Public Procurement Service.

The newly registered products include the 'SC9000' and 'SC5020' storage systems, one 'SC400' disk expansion enclosure and three 'SC460' disk expansion enclosures (120TB/200TB/360TB), and the 'Unity' disk expansion enclosures '2.5-inch DAE' and '3.5-inch DAE'. Including the eight newly registered products, Dell EMC is supplying a total of 14 products through the Public Procurement Service (나라장터), expanding the range of storage options to help public institutions, local governments, and educational institutions accelerate their IT transformation.

Dell EMC's SC Series is a mid-range storage solution for cost-sensitive customers, featuring enterprise capabilities such as storage tiering, federation, and live volumes. Notably, it allows for customizable flash ratios from 0 to 100%, enabling flexible configurations for hybrid or all-flash arrays. It also offers storage tiering that supports RAID tiering, as well as federation features that enable easy, non-disruptive workload migration and load balancing between arrays. In addition, new enterprise features such as 'VMware Virtual Volumes (VMware VVOL),' which enables data deduplication, compression, and flexible integration with VMware, have been added to lower the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and boost management efficiency.

Dell EMC, in partnership with supplier AIS Technology, is showcasing a diverse range of storage products through the Public Procurement Service (Nara Jangteo), providing purchasing convenience for local governments, public institutions, and national and public educational institutions. AIS provides comprehensive support for delivery, installation, and maintenance through Nara Jangteo.
