India-Specific Premium, Samsung Electronics Galaxy Note 9
Samsung Electronics held a launch event for the 'Galaxy Note 9' in Gurugram, near New Delhi, India, on the 22nd (local time) and set out to target the Indian premium market.

The 'Galaxy Note 9' is scheduled to be officially released in India on August 24 in a total of three colors—Ocean Blue, Midnight Black, and Metallic Copper—with a yellow S Pen, and in 128GB and 512GB internal memory models.

Samsung Electronics is continuously developing and providing various features and services that reflect the needs of Indian consumers, such as 'Chat on Video,' which allows users to chat through a translucent chat window while watching videos on platforms like YouTube; 'Samsung Mall,' which enables users to take a photo of a product or similar items and purchase them immediately from online shopping malls; and 'S-Bike Mode,' which notifies the caller that the other party is driving and connects the call once the motorcycle stops.

Samsung Electronics operates a sales subsidiary, five R&D centers, a design center, and two production bases to provide products and services specialized for India.


Extreme Office, Lenovo ThinkPad P1
Lenovo is launching the mobile workstation ThinkPad P1.

The ThinkPad P1 maintains the ThinkPad’s signature exterior design, composed of black carbon fiber and magnesium alloy, while maximizing portability with a weight of 1.7 kg, a thickness of 18.4 mm, and a power adapter reduced to one-third the size of its predecessor. Meeting 12 military-grade requirements and over 200 quality inspection standards, the P1 possesses reliable ruggedness capable of withstanding extreme environments ranging from wastelands to desert sandstorms.

Performance has not been compromised either. It is equipped with 8th generation Intel Xeon processors and the latest NVIDIA Quadro P1000 and P2000 graphics. Additionally, it supports up to 64GB of DDR4 memory and up to 4TB of NVMe SSD, enabling fast task processing. Notably, it has obtained ISV certification, enhancing stability and reliability for running various applications. It also did not forget connectivity, featuring multiple Thunderbolt, USB 3.0, and HDMI ports.

A robot that is easy to put on and take off, LG CLOi Suitbot
LG Electronics will unveil its wearable robot, the 'LG CLOi SuitBot,' for the first time at the 'IFA 2018' exhibition, which opens in Berlin, Germany, on the 31st of this month.

The Suitbot is a wearable robot designed to support lower body strength and can be utilized in various fields, ranging from industrial sites to daily life. By supporting the wearer's lower body and enhancing muscle strength, it can be used in various industrial settings, such as manufacturing and construction. In daily life, it assists wearers with mobility difficulties to move easily.

Suitbot has significantly improved the unnatural and uncomfortable fit of existing wearable robots. In addition, using the dedicated stand, you can easily and comfortably put it on and take it off with just a simple motion.

LG Electronics plans to apply artificial intelligence technology to its suitbots that learns and analyzes data on the wearer's movements and surrounding environment to predict and avoid danger.

Since announcing last year that it would foster the robot business as a future growth engine, LG Electronics has been continuously introducing various robot products based on core technologies such as artificial intelligence and autonomous driving.
