PTC announced on the 5th that its ThingWorx was selected as a top product in the “Smart Manufacturing Platform Competitive Assessment” report published by ABI Research.

ABI Research analyzed the platforms of 11 major vendors, examining each vendor's overall business models, partnerships, product features, and system integration capabilities in terms of innovation and implementability. ThingWorx received an excellent score, recognized for its strengths including powerful benefits for augmented reality utilization, digital twin capabilities, protocol adaptability, and device connectivity.

In addition, PTC's ThingWorx received the highest score as a platform capable of deploying innovation initiatives for various transformative technologies. ThingWorx, a platform consisting of rapid application development, intelligent analytics, connectivity, machine learning, augmented reality, and device-cloud integration, helps users develop innovative applications and services and realize IoT-centric business transformation and digital initiatives.
