QLED TV, The Frame, and IoT-based premium products unveiled
On the 4th (local time), Samsung Electronics unveiled its premium TV and home appliances and presented its 'Smart Living' concept at the 'ESPACIO VIRREYES' event hall in Mexico City, with approximately 300 media and industry representatives in attendance.

This event was designed to suggest a 'smart living' lifestyle where IoT-based premium products such as QLED TVs, The Frame, Family Hub refrigerators, and QuickDrive washing machines are organically connected.

At this event, Samsung Electronics attracted the attention of attendees by introducing features such as the ability to control the washing machine and check the progress of the laundry through a smartphone or TV screen by linking it with the IoT platform SmartThings app, and the ability to check the ingredients inside the refrigerator through a camera installed inside the refrigerator.

Samsung Electronics has also significantly strengthened its QLED TV lineup to expand its premium TV market in Mexico. The plan is to spur the popularization of QLED TVs by giving Mexican consumers a choice of two types, curved and flat, in a variety of screen sizes: 49, 55, 65 and 75 inches.
The 75-inch 'QLED TV', which was recently introduced for the first time in the local market, reflects the high demand of local consumers for large-screen TVs, and provides an immersive viewing experience similar to being in a theater. In addition, ▲'Magic Screen' that allows you to enjoy content such as news, weather, pictures, photos, and music even when you are not watching TV ▲'Magic Cable' that replaces the wires of TV peripherals and the power cord with a single cable are also features.
Samsung Electronics' 'The Frame' is a new lifestyle TV that allows consumers to naturally encounter works of art in their daily lives with 'Art Mode' that displays works of art such as paintings and photographs even when the TV is off, and 'Frame Design' that blends perfectly into any installation space.
Meanwhile, the new 'Family Hub' refrigerator product has strengthened food management and home entertainment functions, such as the 'View Inside' function that allows you to check the inside of the refrigerator through the camera without opening the door, and the 'Smart View' function that shows the TV and smartphone screen on the refrigerator screen, allowing you to enjoy content while moving between the living room and kitchen.
The QuickDrive drum washing machine, which cuts washing time by nearly half, is designed to add forward and backward movement to the traditional drum rotation method, with a Q-drum equipped with an independent rotating rear plate. This adds force to the laundry in all four directions, up and down, improving washing performance and cutting washing time by nearly half.
