Nugu candles to be installed in approximately 100 guest rooms by the end of the year
Integrating AI into child-related facilities to enhance convenience for families.
SK Telecom and Paradise Hotel Busan are developing AI-based hotel services.

On the 2nd, SK Telecom signed a business agreement (MOU) for 'Hotel AI Service based on Artificial Intelligence NUGU' at Paradise Hotel Busan in Haeundae-gu, Busan, with officials from both companies in attendance.

This agreement aims to provide customers with a new experience by combining SK Telecom's AI and the various hotel services provided by Paradise Hotel Busan, while also making hotel use more convenient and easier.

First, the two companies plan to provide answers to guests' inquiries, information on hotel amenities, and information on nearby tourist attractions through NUGU Candle in approximately 100 guest rooms within the year.

Additionally, for the first time in Korea, AI will be introduced to F&B (Food and Beverage) services such as restaurants and wine bars. Customers are expected to enjoy a unique service in the form of AI wine recommendations tailored to the weather or mood of the day at the facility.

In addition, the two companies plan to integrate AI into Paradise Hotel Busan's children's facilities to improve the convenience of using the facilities for families.

Paradise Hotel Busan is a place with a variety of children-friendly facilities, worthy of being named one of the world's top 10 hotels for families by global accommodation company (Hotels.com).

The two companies agreed to continue their cooperation, starting with this MOU, by applying SK Telecom's new AI devices and services to hotel services.

SK Telecom AI Business Unit Head Park Myung-soon said, “We are delighted to be developing AI-based hotel services with Paradise Hotel Busan, one of Korea’s leading luxury hotels, following Walkerhill Hotel,” adding, “We will continue to collaborate in various industries so that AI can naturally integrate into customers’ lives.”
