LG Electronics Launches AI Development Race, Unveils 'Deep ThinQ 2.0'

'ThinQ' is a brand attached to LG Electronics' products and services that have AI capabilities.
LG Electronics is enhancing AI development efficiency by distributing the second official version (DeepThinQ 2.0) of its in-house AI platform, DeepThinQ, to all internal organizations. Version 1.0 was distributed last December.
LG Electronics’ Deep ThinQ is a development platform that integrates various functions to facilitate the application and expansion of artificial intelligence technology. LG Electronics developers can conveniently implement applications and apply them to AI products by utilizing the features provided in Deep ThinQ 2.0, without having to individually implement the components that constitute AI, such as voice recognition, image recognition, and biometric authentication.
Deep ThinQ 2.0 supports various operating systems, including Android and WebOS, in addition to Linux. By using software development kits suitable for each operating system, LG Electronics developers can apply artificial intelligence technology to a wider range of products. Features such as driver status detection, sleep state measurement, and biometric multi-authentication have also been added.
LG Electronics has refined the process of verifying various functions of Deep ThinQ 2.0 to prevent errors in advance and improve functional stability.
An official from LG Electronics said, “We plan to introduce differentiated products and services by continuously evolving Deep ThinQ and accelerating artificial intelligence development.”
