KT to Present Latest Software Technologies
Offers Diverse Experiences Through Exhibitions and Hands-on Activities

KT announced on the 25th that it will hold 'KT Software Developer Conference 2018 (KT S/W Developer Conference 2018, hereinafter KSDC 2018)' at The K Hotel in Yangjae-dong on the 29th, where it will share technologies and experiences with software developers.

The KSDC hosted by KT this time is expected to serve as a meeting place to share technologies and experiences not only with software developers and related industry professionals but also with students and the general public interested in software development.

'KSDC 2018' is organized into Track 1 and Track 2. Track 1 will feature presentations on 'Smart-X S/W, Latest Technologies Led by KT' including ▲understanding KT's Internet of Things network and applying IoT development ▲ABC-KT ucloud biz for developers ▲traffic information analysis based on Apache Spark and other latest software technologies from KT. Track 2 will introduce KT's software developer ecosystem under the theme 'Smart-X S/W, Technologies with KT' including ▲easily learning GiGA Genie service development ▲utilizing KT 5G Open Lab ▲service development using Open IoT Platform ▲API Link for viewing KT APIs at a glance.

Additionally, special exhibition booths will operate to allow visitors to directly experience a variety of offerings including ▲the future of technology being transformed by 5G ▲IoT service experiences using Open IoTMakers ▲GiGA Genie demonstrations.

Ok Kyung-hwa, Executive Director of the Software Development Division at KT's IT Planning Office, stated, "KSDC 2018 is a venue to share major software technologies and development experiences led by KT such as 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), IoT, and blockchain with all those interested in software development including domestic and international developers and IT industry professionals," and added, "KT will make efforts to invigorate the domestic and international developer ecosystem."
