Introduction of in-house developed electric vehicle integrated solution
Joint promotion of EV charger construction and deployment
KT announced on the 25th that it will introduce an integrated electric vehicle solution developed by KT to electric vehicles produced by Master Automotive Management.

Master Auto Management is a comprehensive automotive management company that provides a wide range of vehicle-related services, including electric vehicle production, vehicle maintenance, roadside assistance, mobile inspections, car rental, parts and accessories business, and call center operations. Currently, we provide vehicle management services to a total of 239 companies, including public institutions, general companies, and rental car companies.

The integrated electric vehicle solution provided by KT to Master Automotive Management is a system that enables monitoring of key electric vehicle elements, such as vehicle-specific battery status, charging status, and the distance between the vehicle and the charging station, on a single screen.

In particular, KT predicted that the integrated electric vehicle solution would provide a more convenient and safer driving environment for electric vehicle drivers, as it is developing battery safety alert functions such as battery overvoltage, overcurrent, and overheating, as well as battery charging history for individual vehicles.

KT developed an integrated electric vehicle solution based on 'Giga drive,' KT's dedicated connected car platform.

Giga Drive is a platform that provides infotainment services such as music, maps, and navigation, as well as real-time vehicle management and traffic-related big data analysis results individually or in an integrated manner, based on KT's stable communication network.

Going forward, KT and Master Automotive Management plan to expand the application of KT's integrated electric vehicle solution to electric vehicles operated by Master Automotive Management's clients, in addition to electric vehicles produced by Master Automotive Management.

In addition, both companies plan to jointly install electric vehicle chargers at Master Auto Management repair franchises and work together on projects to supply electric vehicles to various companies.
