With the rise of IoT and AIoT, applications in security, public safety, and banking are increasing.

Camera manufacturer Vivotech has signed a strategic partnership with CyberLink, a company that possesses facial recognition technology, to integrate and sell its cutting-edge AI facial recognition engine across all Vivotech IP camera models.

This technology, called FaceMe, is a solution that integrates an AI facial recognition engine and Vivotech network cameras into video management software, allowing security managers to receive accurate facial recognition alerts.
The core technology is a camera that captures faces, and Vivotech has strategically leveraged CyberLink's solution to implement more sophisticated facial recognition.

Virginia Chin, Vivotech Korea manager, said, “With the innovation and technological advancement of IoT and AIoT (Intelligent Internet of Things), the demand for facial recognition technology is rapidly increasing across many industries, including security, public safety, and banking.” She added, “By utilizing registration data, facial recognition technology can precisely track the movements of individuals recognized through the Internet network.”
