ROHM Releases Solution Circuit Verification Web Simulation Tool

Batch simulations possible on the web
On the 27th, ROHM developed the 'ROHM Solution Simulator', a web simulation tool that can collectively verify SiC power devices and drive/power ICs on solution circuits for designers of automotive and industrial electronic circuits and systems.

In addition, 44 types of solution circuits corresponding to this have been released on the official ROHM website. A ROHM official said that they plan to increase the number of solution circuits and corresponding products such as power supply ICs and LED driver ICs in the future. They also said that they are planning to introduce a model for thermal simulation.
The ROHM Solution Simulator is an electronic circuit simulation tool that operates on the ROHM official website, and can simulate everything from the early development stages, such as component selection and individual device verification, to the system-level verification stage, on the web.
The new web simulator was developed using SystemVision Cloud (SVC), a simulation platform from Mentor Siemens Business. Users with an SVC account can verify simulation data run with the ROHM Solution Simulator by reflecting it in their SVC environment.
The ROHM Solution Simulator can be used free of charge by completing the customer registration process on the ROHM official website. In addition, information on how to access the simulator and the materials required for use are available here .
In the future, ROHM plans to provide the “Solution EVK,” an evaluation kit that allows for evaluation of the same circuit as the solution circuit.
