Samsung C&T Develops "Raemian A.IoT Platform" that Homes Independently Propose Customized Environments for Residents

Samsung C&T's Construction Division announced on the 8th that it has developed the 'Raemian A.IoT Platform' that combines AI and IoT.
The Raemian A.IoT Platform collaborates with Samsung SDS to connect an AI system to a home IoT platform, analyzes residents' living patterns, and proposes or automatically executes customized environments familiar to customers.
While the existing system performed the function of controlling settings through home pads or mobile devices, the A.IoT Platform automatically controls the environment to residents' preferences during departure or arrival through customer pattern analysis.
Taking the case of leaving home without turning off the induction cooktop, the existing IoT system allowed users to turn off the induction cooktop remotely using a smartphone from outside. However, the new A.IoT system independently notifies residents that the induction cooktop power has not been turned off or automatically turns it off.
The Raemian A.IoT Platform is an open platform that can utilize advanced smart home technology provided not only by Samsung Electronics but also by KT, LG U+, SK Telecom, Kakao, and Naver, and residents can select and use AI speakers and services of their choice.
Samsung C&T has already developed its own IoT platform and first introduced it at the 'Raemian Urban Park' sold in Busan in 2019. The newly developed Raemian A.IoT Platform is scheduled to be introduced at Raemian One Pentas (Shinbanpo 15th Redevelopment), which is currently under bidding, and Banpo Jugong 1 Complex Block 3.
