ST Korea Holds STM32 Discovery Day Online

STMicroelectronics announced that it will host 'STM32 Discovery Day Online Track 2020' from September 1 to 4, showcasing key STM32 products and solutions for power and communication applications.
STM32 Discovery Day is an annual event held by ST Korea branch centered around ST's 32-bit general-purpose MCU, STM32. This year, due to the impact of COVID-19, it will be held online for free.
At this event, ST will introduce the STM32MP1 MPU with dual Arm Cortex® cores, TouchGFX, a free graphics solution based on STM32, STM32WL, a single-chip LoRa® solution, STM32Cube.AI for implementing basic neural network embedded systems based on STM32 devices, STM32CubeMonitor for displaying runtime variables of STM32 applications in real time, a door lock control solution based on NFC solution, and STSAFE, a security IC-based solution.
Pre-registration is required for this event, which will feature speakers from ST, Microsoft, AWS, and Sigma Delta Technologies. Registration and detailed event information can be found here .

ST Launches 26 1.0mm Profile Schottky Diodes
ST has launched 26 types of Schottky diodes based on SMA·SMB Flat packages with a thickness of 1mm. The profile is 50% lower than standard SMA·SMB package diodes, enabling increased power density and space savings. They are compatible with SMA·SMB footprints, making drop-in replacement convenient.

ST STM32WB55 MCU family supports Zigbee 3.0
ST has added Zigbee 3.0 support based on the Zigbee Pro protocol stack to the STM32WB55 MCU product family. The Zigbee 3.0 software for STM32WB55 includes Exegin's Zigbee Pro protocol stack and is provided free of charge. The stack is currently in use in Exegin products certified as Zigbee Golden Units and has been approved as a reference stack for use during testing.
